Aquaman 2 with Jason Momoa and Amber Heard could be the saving grace for DC superhero movies

Even though DC is not going through the best of times, much less with the low numbers that The Flash has had, there is still one title that could help the studio improve and that is Aquaman 2. Aquaman 2 with Jason Momoa and Amber Heard could be the salvation for DC’s superhero movies.

When the news of a second Aquaman installment was released people were excited, but everything changed with the Amber Heard scandal, where people demanded changes or they would boycott. The news passed and people forgot, but now this title could be the salvation for DC.

The director of the ‘King of the Seas’ movie assures that it will be totally worth watching Aquaman 2, because thanks to the cast and the story he wants to convey, this will be very different from the recent movies being released by the film company.

In a recent interview at Comic Book, James expressed with sincerity that thanks to the fact that his movie is mostly underwater, it doesn’t have to be linked to what is happening with other superheroes at the time, which took a little pressure off him, as he wouldn’t have to intertwine the stories.

“For no one is a secret that many people love Jason Momoa and Amber Heard for their roles in the first film, this is why for no reason could they be changed for the second version, being them the face and the salvation for the next DCEU superhero movies,” expressed the director.
