‘The Walking Dead’ was forgotten, the new series that dethroned the popular zombie story

The Walking Dead‘ has been left in the past, and the new AMC+ series came to take the throne of the best zombie series, that’s right, we are talking about ‘The Walking Dead: Dead City‘ a series that follows the adventures of our beloved characters Maggie and Negan, a strong-willed couple, but still fail to create a bond of trust between them.

In this new post-apocalyptic world, both will keep trying to kill each other, but the situation will always make them end up working together to fulfill their interests, being a kind of ‘Spin-offsequel to The Walking Dead, where both exterminators of ‘undead’ enter the plagued city of Manhattan where they will join in a mission to rescue Maggie’s son, Hershel, who has been kidnapped by a group of bandits stalkers.

Currently ‘The Walking Dead: Dead City’ dethroned AMC’s previous series ‘The Walking Dead’ by having the best premiere mark of any other series on the platform. Of course, this one took the crown away from the original series, with over two million views on linear TV, which premiered in October 2022.

The Walking Dead had been criticized for its drastic change in the plot with the main characters, something that was not much liked by fans of the series, now AMC has hit the spot, amending its mistakes with this new delight of the living dead.
