Margot Robbie reveals the curious request she made to the director in order to star in “Barbie.”

Margot Robbie has accomplished one of her dreams when she was just a child, where she imagined herself as Barbie, now, the Australian actress has been able to have the great honor of playing the famous Mattel doll, in the new movie ‘Barbie‘. The film will be released on July 20.

Margot Robbie recently revealed the curious request she made to the film’s director Greta Gerwig on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show‘ talk show. The actress told the host of the program, that before she kicked off the filming of the movie, she asked just one thing. “I’ll follow your vision, whatever you want your Barbie movie to be, let’s do it. Except I have one request,” Robbie told Gerwig. “Please, please, please, please, can we have a dollhouse that has a slide that goes from her room to her pool, because that’s my goal in life.” She added.

Of course, Greta accepted this condition with pleasure, Margot confessed that playing the role of Barbie in the new movie was everything she was hoping for, since for her, it meant fulfilling a dream from when she was a child.

Now, after the recent trailers, the actress has left fans wanting more, and it is expected that Margot’s spectacular acting and great talent will shine in this new Barbie live action. Many of her followers have confirmed that Robin was the ideal person to play the iconic doll from Mattel, since both her personality and humor “Hit the right note” fitting perfectly with the character.
