The American singer Madonna, known worldwide as the queen of pop, had planned to start her world tour ‘The Celebration Tour’ next October; however, this Wednesday June 28th it was announced that the singer was found unconscious in New York City.
According to reports from Page Six, the 64-year-old singer was hospitalized in emergency and had to be intubated for at least one night due to a bacterial infection. After a complicated weekend, Madonna is recovering.
During this difficult moment, the “Like A Virgin” singer was accompanied by her daughter Lordes; although according to reports, the artist is out of danger and could be discharged, although under strict medical supervision, since the exact cause of her illness is still unknown.
The start date of ‘The Celebration Tour‘ was close, but now the singer had to put a pause of her professional activities to focus on recovering before returning to the stage.
Regarding the change that the dates will have, so far there is no official information, so it is unknown what will happen with the concerts, and if the queen of pop does not recover completely in a certain time, it is very likely that the tour will be canceled.
