Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently announced that their company, Archewell Audio, mutually agreed to part ways with Spotify and canceled any plans of releasing a second season of Meghan’s podcast, ‘Archetypes.’ After the news broke, people started to question the future of their million-dollar deal with Netflix.
Earlier this week, a Netflix spokesperson addressed the matter and discussed the company’s plans with the controversial couple in an interview with Entertainment Tonight:
“The bond with Archewell Productions is one we deeply value. Harry & Meghan launched as Netflix’s most spectacular documentary debut to date. Our exciting journey with them isn’t ending anytime soon. We’re currently collaborating on numerous projects, including the much-anticipated documentary series Heart of Invictus.”
The Duke of Sussex’s new docuseries was announced in January and it will show the journey of several athletes who participated in Prince Harry’s ‘Invictus Games.’ The Games were set to be held in 2020 in The Hague, Netherlands but they were postponed until 2022 due to the COVID-19- Pandemic.
After a year of bad news, this is, undoubtedly, a good sign that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s future is still bright. After all, the couple left the Royal Family and moved to the United States in 2020 to start a new life.
