The popular American streaming platform Netflix has merged the HBO series ‘Game of Thrones‘ with the Marvel Superheroes production company. This, to create its ambitious new sci-fi series, which promises a plot and story that will grab millions of fans around the world.
With a multi-million dollar budget of over $200 million, Netflix has now unveiled its most expensive series ever made, ‘Three-Body Problem‘, a story that promises an epic sci-fi plot never before seen in a series.
This production is inspired by a successful literary trilogy written by Chinese author Cixin Liu, and published in 2008 with the same name. The story takes us to the end of the 1960s in China, during a time marked by violence and uncertainty.
In the midst of this scenario, a group of scientists and military men are given the task of establishing a project to have contact with extraterrestrial beings, triggering a series of catastrophic events. Fifty years after that plan, an alien civilization tries to invade Earth, which could change the fate of mankind forever.
This production has been considered a fusion between the well-known series ‘Game of Thrones’ and the Marvel production company. Firstly, because the creators of ‘Three-Body Problem’ have the same creators of ‘Game of Thrones’, and secondly, because of the science fiction theme that this ambitious series will have.
The trailer for ‘Three-Body Problem’ has already been released, and its official streaming date on Netflix is expected to be revealed soon. Will it have similarities to ‘Game of Thrones’ or a Marvel movie?
