During a recent interview with the media Fandango, the interpreter of Barbie revealed that despite not being much for her, they needed to repeat the shot eight times for the result we now see, something that surprises many because of how simple it seems.

In addition, they used adhesive tapes on the soles of the heels so that they stay in place when the actress was taking off them. The actress also confessed that she needed the help of a bar to hold herself up and keep her feet on the tips of her toes, and the fact that she had practiced ballet as a child was surely useful for the filming.

It is important to note that this scene was very necessary for the production, as the team always wanted ‘Barbie’ to keep her characteristic of not having flat feet, and therefore they always focused on the actress to remain on tiptoe.
