Troye Sivan and Stray Kids’ Hyunjin were caught interacting for the first time a few weeks ago at Dua Lipa’s “La Vacanza” 2023 fashion show with Versace. Both artists apparently became good friends and even shared a series of selfies on social media.
Everything changed when Troye Sivan took to his personal TikTok account and posted a video of Hwang Hyunjin followed by the phrase “anyone know how to reach this man,” and while some fans loved that Troye had a crush on the Stray Kids member, others were really offended.
From there, the “Angel Baby” performer started receiving mixed comments, some even recommended him to subscribe to JYP ENTERTAINMENT’s “Bubble” platform so that he can communicate with Hyunjin, but others left Sivan really nasty comments.
Apparently the South African felt bad about this and some time later posted a TikTok with the following statement “that’s the last time I publically crush on a KPop star, I almost got murdered,” accompanying the message with the words “Put. That. Down.”
Of course Troye’s reaction was to be expected, as having received terrible after revealing his crush for Hyunjin, he had to address the situation due to the harassment he was getting from a small section of STAY, the name of the Stray Kids fandom.
