This shocking Netflix series is taking the Internet by storm around the world

Iceland is present in the world of entertainment after taking the reins in the trends with its series “Trapped“, this has two seasons of 10 episodes each available on Netflix, but although it is short, the episodes will catch you completely between a mystery and latent suspense.

The fact is that all the people who have taken the time to watch the series, have been completely delighted, claiming that it took them by storm, since they did not have such high expectations. The Guardian gave the series a perfect score and described it as:

“A sophisticated Icelandic drama that has the same dark and chilling beauty as ‘Borgen’ and ‘The Killing’, but is more claustrophobic and intense, completely trapping the viewer in its chaotic world.”

Likewise, the synopsis of “Trapped” promises a lot, you can read it below:

“A ferry with three hundred passengers from Denmark docks in the harbor of a small Icelandic town when a severe snowstorm rages in the area. The ship cannot leave the port until the storm passes and the main roads are impassable. A mutilated and unidentified body is washed up in the water, murdered only hours ago.

The local police chief, Andri Olafssun, whose private life is falling apart, realizes that the killer has landed in his town. As rumors spread, tranquility turns to chaos and both the ferry passengers and the townspeople understand that they are all possible suspects and that there is a killer trapped in their midst,” concludes the synopsis of the series available on Netflix.
