HYBE, a South Korean music event management and production company, and which through one of its subsidiaries, Big Hit Music agency, represents one of the most important groups in the K-Pop industry, BTS, for which it is currently under fire for excessive photo editing.
Recently, the K-Pop boy group celebrated its 10th debut anniversary, for this important occasion the members surprised their fans by announcing their book titled ‘Beyong the Story: 10-Years Record of BTS‘, a project that many were looking forward to.
Although this release excited all of ARMY, some couldn’t let go of the excessive editing in the photos that the company made. The cover photo released of the South Korean septet’s book has received numerous criticisms on social media claiming that they look too white.
For this reason HYBE is under fire during the release of their long-awaited book. Also, because the idols have been in charge of sharing unedited photos in the past where they show their natural skin tones, and they have been promoting self-love since their inception.
