The renowned idol Jisoo, member of the girl group BLACKPINK has revealed that she personally doesn’t believe in friendship relationships between men and women, sparking a huge controversy among fans and netizens on social media.

It was on the most recent episode of YouTube show ‘Ding University‘ where the South Korean artist surprised by revealing that she has never considered that a relationship between people of different sexes can become a true friendship.

The controversial confession started when Jisoo in talks with the show’s host Kim Jim Woo shared her point of view on male-female friendship relationships and revealed:

Personally, I don’t think women and men can just be friends, he is my friend, and I can be his friend because I have known him for more than 10 years“, the idol said.

If I could ask ‘How are you,’ from time to time, irregularly, and neither party feels pressured to keep in touch, but we still feel comfortable, then I consider him a friend.”
