Prince Harry and Prince William’s relationship has not been on the best terms after Harry gave up on his royal title and decided to attack the royal family in his memoir, Spare. Since then, they have not interacted in public which has led to many people wondering if Harry ignored William’s birthday on June 21.
However, former royal butler Grant Harrold revealed in an interview with the Daily Express that the Duke of Sussex might have kept in touch with the Prince of Wales and that they communicate with each other on special occasions:
“I think he will reach out to him, definitely, I think they will still reach out to each other on their birthdays. Will there be a card? I think there will still be a card. Will there be a gift? I don’t know, it’s difficult to say.”
Although Harry did not post any message on social media regarding William’s birthday, some royal followers strongly believe that he might have put their differences aside and reached out to him privately. However, others assure that their relationship is irreparable and he might have chosen to completely ignore his brother’s special day instead.
On top of that, it is also being said that one of the reasons why Prince Harry might have not congratulated Prince William on his birthday is because he does not belong to the Royal Family anymore. In 2020, he gave up on his royal title and moved to the United States to live a calmer life and cut all ties with other royals.
