Meghan Markle is at the center of yet another controversy as she is currently being accused of faking out the interviews for her Spotify podcast. ‘Archetypes’ was released in 2022 and its main goal was to “investigate, dissect, and subvert the labels that try to hold women back” by featuring conversations with several female celebrities.
Earlier this week, the Daily Mail revealed that the Duchess of Sussex had been accused of faking out and modifying the interviews that were featured in the podcast. Everything began when American journalist Allison Yarrow, featured in the “To ‘B’ or not to ‘B’?’ episode, revealed that she was not interviewed by the Duchess of Sussex through an Instagram post.
On August 24, 2022, Yarrow made an Instagram post to talk about her experience recording an episode for the podcast and accidentally revealed that it was actually Farrah Safari who interviewed her:
This information has led many people to believe that production employees conducted the interviews and then Meghan Markle recorded some questions in order to play around with the guest’s responses. As a result, she is currently receiving a lot of backlash on social media for not being authentic and only caring about money.
