United States blocks Prince Harry’s visa records

It seems that lately Prince Harry has been involved in many situations involving legal aspects, from the lawsuit he is currently going through against a UK media for harassment, the prince has also been in scandals for allegedly lying to obtain his US visa. Already groups of people have requested his visa cancellation, but now, the United States has blocked Prince Harry’s visa records.

U.S. authorities have dismissed the request to make Prince Harry’s visa file history public, amid questions about whether or not he lied about past drug use.

The Heritage Foundation’s legal team and lawyers attended court last week to try to enforce the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) duty to respond to a Freedom of Information Act request on the Duke of Sussex to disclose to the public everything that is going on with Harry’s visa issue.

“To the extent records exist, this office does not find a public interest in disclosure sufficient to override the privacy interests of the subject,” Wolfrey’s letter wrote.

The past hearing that took place in Washington D.C. also did not discuss whether disclosing Prince Harry’s visa application would have any advantage, so authorities have decided to block any files pertaining to the Duke of Sussex’s visa.
