Kate Middleton and Prince William have always been two of the most beloved members of the royal family. Since becoming the Prince and Princess of Wales, the couple has had to fulfill different duties that came with their new titles, and that will take them to Edinburgh, Scotland in the upcoming weeks.
The British royal family is currently preparing every detail for King Charles III and Queen Camilla’s second coronation. On July 5, the King will be presented with the Honours of Scotland, which are made up of a crown, a scepter, and a sword, in the event held at St. Giles Cathedral.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Kate Middleton and Prince William are perfecting everything for their trip to Edinburgh as it was confirmed that they will attend the second coronation ceremony. On top of that, they are also going to be recognized in Scotland as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, royal titles which they inherited from King Charles III and Queen Camilla after Queen Elizabeth II passed away.
Over the past few years, the royal couple has gained a lot of attention and won the British people’s hearts due to their work ethic. As a result, it is safe to assume that they are going to be greatly welcomed by the Scottish people and the popularity of the monarchy in the country will increase.
