The world of cinema has a new competitor and it is Nintendo, which gave us a great blockbuster movie like Super Mario: The Movie, which did not disappoint the public at all, who even begged for Peaches to be nominated for the academy awards. Now, the fans of the most famous plumbers in the world could receive great news, Chris Pratt gives good news for the future Super Mario Bros 2 movie.
Through an interview made to the American media Entertainment Tonight, Chris Pratt revealed some very good news for the second installment of Super Mario Bros. Recall that Chris Pratt is the actor behind the voice of Mario Bros, which was very controversial at the time, but, fans did not seem to care much in the end.
Chris assured that at the moment, they are waiting for the end of the Hollywood screenwriters strike to start giving details of the future of the saga, so he invited fans to wait a little time.
“We’re in the middle of this screenwriters’ strike, so everything is at a standstill. I support the WGA and all of our screenwriters. When the negotiations are over, and the writers are satisfied to get back to work, it will be time to start talking about the future of Super Mario Bros, so yes there will be a saga,” said the actor.
Super Mario Bros is not the only movie that has been affected by the screenwriters’ strike, since, so far, titles such as Avatar or Avengers have also been delayed.
