Tom Holland is currently one of the most sought-after and beloved actors by the public, because he gives life to one of the most endearing characters in the world of superheroes, Spiderman. After the successful last installment of the arachnid, it was announced a fourth film, in which Tom Holland considered not to leave to give the opportunity to someone else.
In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Tom Holland confessed to feeling “a little apprehensive about appearing in Spider-Man 4”, and that a part of him considered not participating in the future film.
“There’s a bit of a stigma about being the fourth in all the franchises. I consider that we’ve managed to hit a home run with our first franchise and there’s a part inside me that feels like it should go out the door, and pass the baton to the next lucky guy who brings this amazing character to life,” the actor stated.
“It’s a collaborative process. The first few meetings were about ‘Why would we do this again?’ And I think we found the reason why to do it. I’m very, very happy with where we are creatively,” the actor assured.
Recall that currently there has not been much more news of the latest installment, as Hollywood is currently living a terrible time with the screenwriters’ strike that has led to many blockbusters scheduled to be delayed for years.
