Prince Harry and Meghan Markle gave up on their royal titles in 2020 and moved to the United States to be away from all the scandals. As a result, it is not surprising that the controversial couple was allegedly not invited to King Charles III’s first Trooping the Colour parade.
Earlier this week, it was announced that Prince William was in charge of leading the rehearsal of this historical ceremony. He is reportedly looking at every detail to make sure that everything is perfect as Charles will be the guest of honor and this will also be his first big job since becoming the Prince of Wales.
The Trooping the Colour parade will take place on June 17 and it could be as big as the coronation ceremony. However, it looks like the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will not be there as, according to Richard Eden from the Daily Mail, they were not invited. “I hear that Prince Harry and Meghan have not, however, been invited to the King’s birthday parade next weekend.”
This would be the first time that Harry and Meghan have not been invited to this kind of event as they always got an invitation and attended Queen Elizabeth II’s birthday parades. As of today, Buckingham Palace has not released any information regarding the official list of attendees so the truth will not be unveiled until the very same day.
