King Charles III is going to celebrate his first official birthday as the monarch of the United Kingdom in the upcoming Trooping the Colour. The ceremony is going to take place on June 17 at the Horse Guards Parade and he allegedly wants to break the mold by doing things differently.

This Saturday, the Royal Family is going to celebrate Charlesbirthday accompanied by almost 1500 members of the King’s Guard and 400 horses. The event is going to be broadcasted worldwide and the British people are eagerly waiting to see what kind of changes will be implemented.

The Trooping the Colour parade has been celebrated since almost 200 years ago with little to no changes. However, several British tabloids are reporting that King Charles III wants to break the mold and mount on a horse during the ceremony. Traditionally, the sovereign participates while being transported on a carriage so this would be a huge change.

A few days ago, it was revealed that Prince William is in charge of leading the rehearsals so it is safe to assume that he is going to make sure that every single detail is perfect. On top of that, this will be the first royal event that he is going to oversee since becoming the Prince of Wales.
