Lena Headey’s previous role before bringing Cersei Lannister to life in Game Of Thrones

Lena Headey was in charge of bringing Cersei Lannister to life in the successful fantasy series ‘Game of Thrones.’ Her performance was met with a lot of critical acclaim and she was praised for her amazing acting skills. However, not many people know that she had previously appeared in other roles before the HBO series.

It is safe to say that Lena was one of the key reasons why the show was so well-received by the public as Cersei Lannister is still considered one of the best villains in television today. On top of that, the British actress has always been a huge fan of Sci-Fi so it is not surprising that she also participated in one of the most popular franchises at Warner Bros.

She played Sarah Connor in ‘Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles’ which ran for two seasons between 2008 and 2009. Although Lena was definitely one of the standouts of the show, it was canceled after its second season because of internal franchise issues and she did not continue playing the character.
