British actress Emilia Clarke portrayed Daenerys Targaryen in the wildly successful HBO series Game of Thrones. The actress recently acknowledged that she has not watched the Game of Thrones spinoff that was just broadcast on HBO max, despite spending a lot of time working on this program over the course of its eight seasons.
The portrayal of Daenerys Targaryen by Emilia Clarke was a major factor in her quick climb to prominence. Due to her prominence at the time, she was able to secure roles in well-known properties like Star Wars. There are reports that she may also be working with Marvel on their upcoming film “The Avengers” alongside Samuel L. Jackson.
Following the popularity of Game of Thrones, the show’s makers made the decision to produce further spin-offs linked to the Game of Thrones story. One such spin-off was House Of The Dragon, which debuted at the end of 2022 and garnered favorable reviews from critics and viewers alike.
Despite her admiration for the series, Emilia Clarke stated to Variety that she has not even seen the Dragon House spin-off because she does not feel comfortable with it. The two stories are so dissimilar to one another and the last series, which finished in 2019, that she thinks it could be a little awkward to do it, therefore she is staying away from it.
It is strange that the mother of dragons has not even attempted to engage with this well-liked series, which offered plenty to discuss. Many epic fans find it somewhat odd that the show’s stars do not even bother to watch other storylines that are similar to the ones they did.
