Shakira visited Colombia with her two children

Shakira, a Colombian artist, has had a rough year since moving to Miami, but everything seems to show that she is more happy now. In fact, she was just sighted returning to her home country.

The beautiful, Shakira, who is  a singer, dancer, and songwriter, spent this past weekend in her native Colombia. The media was curious as to what the Latin celebrity was doing in the land of coffee because she was visiting her home nation with her two kids.

Shakira has reportedly visited her native Colombia once more after a protracted absence, according to the RCN station. She has done it with her kids, and the story behind her visit is truly heartwarming.

Given her father’s fragile health, which has gotten worse over the past year, the ‘Te Felicito’ singer flew from Miami to Colombia to be with her parents, Nidia del Carmen Ripoll and William Mebarak.

The Latin music icon reportedly lodged with his daughters Sasha and Milan in Cao Dulce, a popular tourist destination close to the cities of Cartagena and Barranquilla.

Shakira reportedly spent the weekend seeing a number of her relatives, according to another story. She will reportedly soon move back to Miami, but not before giving custody of her two kids to their father, retired Spanish soccer player Gerard Piqué, who will spend the majority of their holidays with them in Barcelona, Spain.
