Kate Middleton’s brother, James Middleton, recently gave an interview where he talked about the luck that Princess Charlotte, Prince George, and Prince Louis have. According to him, he convinced her sister and Prince William to let their children have a dog.
A few days ago, James gave an interview to OK! Magazine and revealed that he is pleased to know that his nephews and niece are allowed to have a pet because Lupo, the first dog in the Wales family, sadly passed away in 2020. After that, James decided to gift Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis an English Cocker Spaniel puppy to cheer them up.
“I’m really pleased that they can enjoy and benefit from a dog in their lives. I see them being lucky that they have a dog in their life. I wrote letters to my parents to try to convince them to let me have one.”
James’s appreciation for animals comes from his and Kate’s parents, Michael and Carole Middleton. During James and Kate’s teenage years, they decided to get Tilly, a golden retriever, for them as well and it change their lives forever. As a result, the love for dogs runs in the Middleton’s blood, and the royal grandchildren will now have the opportunity of sharing that same bond.
