Prince Harry is back in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. During the last few months, he has visited the United Kingdom to represent himself in court and now several royal experts are assuring that he could lose almost €20 million as a result of the lawsuits leading him to bankruptcy.
It looks like no matter where he goes, Harry will continue being surrounded by controversies and scandals. On top of all of that, British lawyer Mark Stephen recently revealed in an interview for Newsweek magazine that the Duke of Sussex’s situation might worsen as the lawsuits could bring a lot of financial problems to his life.
“I think Harry has taken it upon himself to sponsor the London legal village, and as a lawyer, I welcome that. Whether it’s prudent is another matter, People are entitled to go to court, but whether he wins some or all of these cases he’s going to come out net down because you never recover, even if you win, 100 percent of your costs, he might get 60 or 70 percent.”
According to Mark, he could lose millions: “Even at the lower end, that would leave Harry having to pay $15 million, more than the $14.7 million he and Meghan Markle paid for their mansion in Montecito, California.” The expectations regarding Prince Harry’s next move are increasing and it is safe to say the British and International media will continue following the case closely.
