Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to give up on their royal titles and leave the royal family in 2020 to plan to stay away from all the controversies. However, their plan to move to the United States to start a new life might have not had the results that they expected.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s lives have consistently been surrounded by drama and controversies and it looks like moving to a different country will not change that. A few days ago, they were involved in a “near-catastrophic” in the streets of New York but the couple is now being called overdramatic by the American press.
The incident happened after Meghan Markle received the Women of Vision Award. As soon as the ceremony was over, they got into a car but were immediately surrounded by a group of paparazzi who wanted to photos of them and it was very reminiscent of what happened to the late Princess Diana.
On top of that, Prince Harry was also accused of lying to get his American visa after he confessed in his memoir, Spare, that he did drugs several times when he was younger. This kind of intonation must be disclosed while doing the process to obtain the residency permit.
Although they wanted things to be different in the United States, the couple has had to face a lot of problems and continued to be involved in several controversies just like when they were still living in the United Kingdom.
