Jennie from the worldwide famous girl group BLACKPINK revealed in a recent interview what the real attitude of her three groupmates was toward her surprising debut as an actress in the HBO series titled ‘The idol‘.
The TV Daily reported in June 2022 that the South Korean idol received an offer to be part of the cast of the upcoming HBO series created by the renowned artist The Weeknd. Later, the news was confirmed with the release of a preview that showed the girl was part of it.
In a recent interview Jennie gave to Entertainment Tonight during the Cannes Festival, she revealed what the attitudes of Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé were toward her new project, which would be her actress debut. The idol also said that at the same time that she was filming for the series, she was filming a music video with her groupmates for their album ‘BORN PINK‘.

In addition, the BLACKPINK member revealed that she had to travel to Los Angeles and film away from her groupmates, who during that time always called her and showed a good attitude towards her successful step in her career.
“They always checked with me, every day they called me when I was recording in Los Angeles to make sure I was okay on my own“, said the artist.

Jennie also said that one of them, her groupmate Jisoo, sent her a cute message to support and congratulate her on the premiere day, saying, “You look very beautiful, I’m very happy for you“. Showing how beautiful and strong the friendship between the three artists is.
