King Charles III and Queen Camilla made their first public appearance after their successful crowning which took place on May 6 at Westminster Abbey. Earlier this week, the royal couple traveled to Northern Ireland.
The purpose of their trip was to inaugurate the new Coronation Garden which was exclusively designed to mark the beginning of their reign and also serves as a new ecological project for the community, one of the many ways in which King Charles III wants to raise awareness about the environment.
The monarchs of the United Kingdom observed the garden from the balcony and reunited with some children from different elementary schools and even showed themselves really happy while cutting a crown-shaped cake exclusively made for them that resembles Saint Edward’s crown used for crowning King Charles III.
The royal couple approached the Northern Ireland people and showed gratitude and kindness to everybody who was waiting for them, they even met all the attendees who through their volunteer work could make the garden projects come true.
The King and Queen managed to plant with some special help a tree known as the Magnolia tree in Hillsborough Castle’s garden to commemorate their coronation while they were applauded by the attendees of the event.
