Kate Middleton continues to be one of the most beloved members of the royal family so it is not surprising that people like to follow her around when she goes in public. However, she is currently being criticized online after a group of children approached her for an autograph and she refused to do it.
Kate made a surprise appearance at the Chelsea Flower Show. During the event, she took a walk through the garden and accompanied almost 100 children from different elementary schools in London who were doing a picnic and looking at the exhibition.
On top of that, the Princess of Wales spent some time with the children and helped them identify different flowers and bugs in the garden. After this, several of them approached her and asked her to sign their notebooks but she told them that she could not do it. However, she tried to cheer them up with some drawings.
Although some people were disappointed by what happened and are even criticizing her online, Kate Middleton explained that, as a member of the royal family, she is not allowed to give autographs due to a royal protocol that was created to prevent any falsification from third parties.
