Cher turns 77 and reflects on her age: “When will I feel old?”

Cher is an icon and her career has had its ups and downs since she debuted in 1963. In the last few years, she has become well-known for her funny tweets such as the one she posted official Twitter account a few days ago: “Ok, Will Someone PLEASE Tell me…..When Will I Feel OLD.” 

For her, it seems like age is just a number. On May 20th, the American artist celebrated her 77th birthday and revealed that she still feels young. Some people think that this might be the reason why she started dating younger men although she recently broke up with Alexander Edwards, a 37-year-old rapper she was seeing.

Cher was not afraid to voice her opinion and share her feelings with the almost 4 million people following her on Twitter. Even if she is already 77 years old, she does not even know when she is going to start feeling old. “This is ridiculous. I keep hearing these numbers, but I honestly can’t understand them.” 

After she posted those tweets, several people praised her for being so open about this topic in a society that punishes celebrities, especially women, for getting older. According to the Daily Mail, Cher kept in touch with Alexander, and she might be looking to rekindle their relationship: “She actually really cares about A.E., and now that she’s closer to her kids, she wants more stability in her life. Although it’s off for now, no one in her close circle would be surprised to see them back together.”
