Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were victims of a ‘near catastrophic’ car chase in the streets of New York. Last week, their spokesperson revealed the couple was harassed by the paparazzi for at least two hours and their safety was put at risk.
After the scandalous incident was reported by the media and became a trending topic, several paparazzi came forward and addressed the situation. According to them, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were never in danger and they were just taking photos.
However, no further details have been revealed as the paparazzi are only willing to give more details about what happened if they are paid for it. One of them was Marvin Patterson who was contacted by The Times. However, Patterson said that if they really want the truth of the car chase, they would need to make a generous offer.
The Major of New York spoke about the incident and criticized the paparazzi’s actions. On top of that, The New York Press Photographers Association released a statement pointing out that the paparazzi involved broke the ethics code of the profession.
