King Charles III and Queen Camilla are already fulfilling their royal duties as the new monarchs of the United Kingdom. Their coronation took place on May 6 at Westminster Abbey and although it was deemed a huge success, the couple is back to their normal lives.
A few days ago, the King and Queen attended the Chelsea Flower Show in London along with Princess Alexandra and Kate Middleton who joined the show by surprise. The seasonal event has been celebrated since more than a hundred years ago and several members of the British royal family are usually part of it.
The monarchs were welcomed by Keith Weed, President of the Royal Horticultural Society, before taking a walk through the gardens. In addition, they also attended the London Square Community Garden to know more about the plans for its renovation as the president wants to turn it into a social space where people can interact with others.
King Charles III and Queen Camilla allegedly found the event very moving because it brought back many memories of the late Queen Elizabeth II who attended the event more than 50 times during her 70-year reign. According to the press and other attendees, the couple looked lovely while walking together through the gardens and even stopped to smell the followers several times.
