Due to a remark that was made on the social networking site Twitter and that, up until that point, had not been fully resolved, one of the most significant fanbase groups in the music industry, such as the ARMYs and the Switfies, have produced quite a confused moment on social media.
However, once the message could be partially deciphered, BTS supporters were able to be quite amusing thanks to an act by one of Taylor Swift’s fans.
On May 8, a writer and author posted on social media about a project that would be released in the middle of this year’s July, but without providing many details beyond the project’s publication and announcement dates.
The curious thing is that the two groups of fandom started to express their theories that it was the publication of a book of Taylor Swift because the 13 was the singer’s lucky day, while others pointed out that it was definitely BTS because the 13 was the anniversary of the debut and July 9 is the birthday of their ARMYS. The image shared talked about the publication of a book which would be announced on June 13 and the official publication on July 9.
But the amusing element, and the source of the other BTS followers’, giggles came when a fan shared a humorous video with the caption.
“Watching the Swifties do the pre-order of a random memory en masse, because they thought Taylor wrote it, but it was really BTS.”
Others who weren’t as familiar with the scenario advised waiting until the official announcement to confirm whether or not all the speculations were true.
