HYBE and YG issue statement on alleged video of BTS’ V and BLACKPINK’s Jennie together in Europe

Recently, on social networks, some images that went viral allegedly exposed the romantic relationship between BTS‘ V and BLACKPINK‘s Jennie. In the videos shared on May 17th, the two K-Pop idols were seen walking in the streets of Paris while holding hands.

After the great controversy created by all their fan’s shock and doubts, the agencies behind the idols pronounced on the matter. The next day, May 18th, BTS and Taehyung’s agency, HYBE, and the agency responsible for Jennie, YG Entertainment, published an official statement where they revealed:

“We don’t know because it’s the artist’s private life“.

In addition, this is not the first time this rumor has come to light; previously, the alleged couple became a trending topic when the two were seen together on Jeju Island in Korea and many photos of the singers were leaked. But at the time, the agencies flatly denied all the rumors with an official statement.

Both fandoms of the two most renowed and influenced K-Pop groups in the world have shared their opinions on social networks after the new statement, and because it does not confirm or deny the love relationship between the artists, BLINK and ARMY have increased their speculations.
