BTS’ Jimin is still in the spotlight after releasing his successful debut album as a solo artist earlier this year. BTS is currently on hiatus because several of its members have had to enlist in the military to fulfill their duties as South Korean citizens. On top of that, it has been said the boyband might not return with all of its members until at least 2025.
As a result, many of the members of the band have decided to start their careers as solo artists. Jimin became the latest one to do so as he released ‘Face’ on March 24, 2023, and broke several records on the most important music platforms.
Since then, Jimin has been on the Billboard Artists 100 chart for eight consecutive weeks. The idol also broke a new record with this impressive feat as he became the Korean solo artist who has spent the most amount of weeks on the list, surpassing the previous record-holder and his bandmate, RM.
The group’s fans, the so-called ARMY, immediately took over social media to express how proud they feel about Jimin for having a successful solo career and congratulate him for all the records he has broken. It is safe to say that BTS has one of the most loyal fanbases ever.
