King Charles III is ready to start his royal duties after being crowned as the new king of the United Kingdom on May 6 at Westminster Abbey. Earlier this week, it was reported that he will do his first state visit but he will go without Queen Camilla.
In the next few days, Charles is going to travel to Romania while Camilla will stay in the United Kingdom. He will be visiting the famous city of Transylvania and he is going to spend some time in the picturesque hills that are close to the properties he owns there. This will mark his first official state visit since the coronation and the start of his royal duties.
Although this is an official visit, Charles will give himself some time to rest. People are speculating that he will be staying in a property that does not have internet or any kind of technological device. After that, he is going to be received by Klaus Iohannins, president of Romania, who is going to take him to Cotroceni’s Palace in Bucarest.
According to the Daily Mail, King Charles III has always been welcomed and admired by the Romanian people because he is constantly visiting the country. On top of that, he created a foundation to support the development of agriculture and the conservation of the infrastructure in the country.
