Experts claim that Jennifer Lopez may be considering giving up her celebrity for the benefit of her kids.
The 53-year-old singer and actress Jennifer Lopez may be feeling guilty that her teenage children are being “judged” by people they will never meet in their lives because of her fame, “I caused this for them”.
According to various media outlets, Jennifer is presently going through her fourth marriage to renowned Hollywood actor Ben Affleck, with whom she reportedly already has some cohabitation issues. The actress and pop singer acknowledged that having famous parents is not at all simple and not something that everyone can relate to. She expressed her regret that her parents did not select that for her.
The pop star stated to Audacy, “I haven’t talked to them much about it, but we just started…they just started letting me know how they are treated by people.”
Recall that J-Lo used gender-neutral pronouns to introduce Emme on stage last year and made a note about how difficult it is to watch her kids being “bullied” by strangers.
The interview was given by Jennifer with the primary goal of promoting her new Netflix film “The Mother,” but as was to be expected, the topic gradually turned to her personal life. The celebrity acknowledged that people judge her children based solely on the fact that she is their mother rather than on who they are.
She also added: “It’s like they feel, there’s a lens constantly on them, and that’s hard. It’s probably not very easy to say, because a lot of people don’t get it. They’re like, OK, you’re famous and your kids are blah, blah, blah, right?”.
Jennifer culminated her candid take on the subject with a poignant reflection, “I think it’s hard for them. I did this to them. And that, you know, again, it’s like, we have this guilt as mothers, it’s like what we do and what we brought into their lives.”
