On social networks, K-Pop fans have been very busy; many controversies have risen, and fans of the girl group IVE protested against the hate the girls are receiving from Stray Kids fans after Bang Chan, in a recent live broadcast, expressed what he felt about the manners of the new generations.
Some days ago, during the male idol’s recent live broadcast, ‘Chan’s Room‘, he said that people of the new generation are rude and do not consider giving and receiving greetings with respect. Although Bang Chan was giving his opinion about a matter of his interest, many fans and netizens related his words to the K-Pop group IVE.
Since the singer’s statements on his live broadcast, some fandoms have been upset with the leader of Stray Kids, especially IVE fans, as they think he might be referring to the group due to what happened at a recent event in Paris.

During the music event, Bang Chan gave a greeting to the six members of the group, but they did not answer him. However, their fans assure them that it was not with bad intention, and they simply did not notice it because the girls were greeting their fans and also because they were a considerable distance away.
On social networks, the fans are sharing all their opinions about the situation. IVE fans are defending their favorite group by saying:
“I think the distance was too great to say that she intentionally ignored his greeting, plus the IVE members were preoccupied with interacting with her fans, so anyone could have missed the greeting.”
“The IVE is characterized by being courteous and greeting everyone; an excuse for doing so“
