The servant who became Princess Anne’s husband and proves to be the perfect man

Royal families have been known worldwide due to the dramas, conflicts and of course, love stories we have all witnessed.

Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, a member of the British royal family, was a complete stranger to Queen Elizabeth II before he won Princess Anne’s heart and became a loving husband.

This 68-year-old former naval officer has supported Princess Anne during personal tragedies like the passing of her mother Queen Elizabeth II last September and has attended Princess Anne’s most significant royal engagements, such as the recent coronation of her brother King Charles III.

Since the 1980s, Sir Laurence has been Queen Elizabeth II’s equestrian. Since then, he has grown to be very important to his wife, Princess Anne, and has gained a solid place in the heart of the most famous monarchy in the entire world.

In 1992, Princess Anne and Sir Tim got married after the loving husband made it through the controversy surrounding the reported letters he wrote to the princess while she was still betrothed to Captain Mark Philips.
