With only a few hours till his coronation, King Charles III is severely overburdened by the immense number of obligations he must attend to. Now, a lot of admirers of the king are saying that they have given him or her “a great challenge” to face.
Domingo Peas, an indigenous leader, recently requested a meeting with King Charles III to beg for assistance with a matter that has been viewed by many as being very tough. Domingo Peas was one of Ecuador’s two visitors at Buckingham Palace on May 4. A representative of Ecuador’s indigenous groups directly requested that King Charles assist in preserving the Amazon.
Charles III is well known for being a strong proponent of environmental protection, so Peas had no hesitation in endorsing the English king’s green views. In a meeting with King Charles III last Thursday, Domingo Peas explained the need of protecting the Amazon to the monarch.
At his coronation on May 6, King Charles III will show off his eco-environmental philosophies. He will distribute seeds to schoolchildren, wear recycled ceremonial attire, and it is rumored that he may replace the princesses’ tiaras with floral headdresses.
The monarch’s concern for the state of environmental degradation has previously been mentioned, and it is well known that he is a committed member of various organizations that work to further these values.
