King Charles III and Queen Camilla’s coronation took place on May 6 at Westminster Abbey and the local and international media considered it a complete success. Millions of people worldwide watched the historic event that had not been celebrated since 70 years ago when the late Queen Elizabeth II was crowned.
Although the royal family rehearsed a couple of times last week to ensure that everything was perfect during the big day, it looks like Charles is not happy with how things went. Buckingham Palace did not take the weather into consideration and the sudden rain made all the attendees, especially the King, concerned.
According to EXPRESS UK, the weather delayed the coronation’s schedule and King Charles III was very concerned about it. A lip-reading expert claimed that Charles was complaining and told Camilla “We can never be on time.. there’s always something.”
King Charles III was visibly upset due to the delayed schedule as he wanted everything to be perfect so his reign could start on a positive note. However, people think that he handled the situation flawlessly and the ceremony was excellent. The British people will for sure remember it for the years to come.
