Prince William has been one of the most controversial members of the royal family after his alleged extra-marital affairs were exposed. A few years ago, a set of photographs where he can be seen sharing an intimate moment with Rose Hanbury leaked online and caused a stir in the royal family.

Although King Charles III was not happy with all the controversies that have surrounded his family, he did not hesitate in showing support to William because he is the next in the line of succession to the British throne and he wants to protect his reputation.

The coronation ceremony took place on May 6 at Westminster Abbey and almost 1000 attendees witnessed the historic event. According to People Magazine, the Prince of Wales showed gratitude to King Charles III during the ceremony by kissing his cheek.

During the event, the Prince got close to the King and told him: “I, William, Prince of Wales, pledge my loyalty to you and faith and truth I will bear unto you, as your liege man of life and limb. So help me God.” and kissed him. After this, Charles answered, “Thank you, William.”
