Prince Harry’s residency status in the United Stakes might be at risk after an American conservative organization asked for Harry’s memoir, Spare, to be used as evidence that proves that he lied during his visa application process.
The Heritage Foundation asked the Department of Homeland Security to publish the records of Prince Harry’s visa application. According to some members of the organization, his visa should be revoked because he admitted to consuming illegal substances in his book. However, the American government rejected the petition because the application is protected by the Freedom of Information Act.
Despite this, the Foundation decided to sue the Department of Homeland Security to ensure that Prince Harry’s immigration records are made public and the truth is revealed:
“Finally, the media coverage has surfaced the question of whether DHS’ decision to admit the Duke of Sussex into the United States should be reconsidered in light of the Duke of Sussex’s most recent admissions to the essential elements of numerous drug offenses both here and abroad in his 2023 memoir, Spare.”
However, some close sources to the prince reached out to The Telegraph and revealed that Harry was completely honest during the whole process, suggesting that he addressed the use of substances in the past in his application.
