In a recent report it was announced that one of the talented members of the girl group NewJeans was chosen to dub Ariel‘s voice into Korean for the long-awaited live-action of Disney‘s classic ‘The Little Mermaid‘.
The news has taken fans and netizens around the world by surprise after revealing a poster with the Korean voice actors working on the controversial film starring Halle Bailey.
The reveal of the film’s lead voice was made with a silhouette of the singer on the poster, and although her identity has not been officially revealed so far, netizens quickly discovered that the silhouette is from a photo of Danielle from the famous K-Pop group.

Despite the fact that the young singer has no experience as a dubbing artist, she was received with enthusiasm and support in this new project. On the other hand, many fans pointed out that the idol’s voice sounds very similar to some of the voices of Disney princesses.
