Kate Middleton is making headlines in the local press, but this time it’s because of a sweet moment she shared with Princess Charlotte. The young girl will turn 8 on May 2, and her mother surprised her with a gift when she turned that age. With all the responsibilities and commitments they must complete as members of the British monarchy, the Duke and Duchess of Wales’ schedule has been a little tight.
In order to ensure that her daughter did not anticipate it, Kate gave her a day’s notice of the surprise she planned to give her. Kate Middleton brought her daughter and some of her daughter’s friends to the performance and ballet of Cinderella at the Royal Opera House in London, which Princess Charlotte attended with her mother.
With a star-shaped wand in hand, Princess Charlotte entered the stage in the middle of the play to join in on the enchanted evening. According to HELLO magazine, a number of guests in attendance who were admiring the fantastic show posted videos and pictures of the fantastic evening, where they were shocked to see who the people there were.
Princess Charlotte will undoubtedly remember this evening forever; the pictures clearly illustrate how much fun they had together in that special occasion.
We can see that despite having a full plate of duties, Kate Middleton was unable to neglect any of her kids. Keep in mind that the wife of Prince William has previously stated that she will always put her kids’ needs before anything else. An illustration of this was the coronation day rehearsals held at Buckingham Palace, where the Princess of Wales chose not to attend in order to honor Prince Louis’ birthday on April 23.
