King Charles III and Camilla Parker’s coronation is just a few days away. The couple is going to officially become the new monarchs of the United Kingdom and more details regarding the ceremony continue to be unveiled. Earlier this week, Buckingham Palace revealed Charles and Camilla’s new official portraits.

In the last few weeks, the British people have expressed their discontent with the details regarding the coronation. One of the most common criticisms toward the royal family is the ridiculous amount of money that is going to be spent on the event and the people believe should be used to help those in need instead.

After the couple’s official portraits were revealed, the photoshoot was no exception and was also highly criticized. The online community made sure to let their opinion known and expressed their concerns about Charles and Camilla’s age as they have been deemed too old to rule the United Kingdom.

The photoshoot was taken last month in The Blue Drawing Room at Buckingham Palace by Hugo Burnarnd. He was also the one who took captured King Charles III and Camilla Parker’s wedding in 2005 and Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding in 2011.
