Prince Harry’s arrival to the United Kingdom to celebrate King Charles III’s coronation is one of the most expected moments for the British people after it was rumored that the royal family would welcome him with open arms.
A coronation ceremony like this has not been celebrated since the late Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation 70 years ago. In a few days, King Charles III and Camilla Parker are going to be crowned as the new monarchs of the United Kingdom even though there are still people who have not accepted Camilla as the queen.
Prince Harry’s attendance at the ceremony shocked everyone because the international media did not believe that he would be invited due to his several attacks and declarations against the royal family. More particularly the ones against his oldest brother, Prince William, and Camilla Parker in his memoir, Spare.
Charles is reportedly really happy about having his two sons in the coronation. However, Paul Burrel, Princess Diana’s former butler, revealed to the Sun that “There is no chance of a reconciliation anytime soon, I’m afraid — I think he will get a very icy reception from the Windsors.”
A cold and distant welcome from the royal family would not surprise anyone because of all the controversies. Prince Harry has allegedly been designated to sit in the 10th row and far away from the royal family which could probably cause a new controversy as it is a sign that a reconciliation will not be coming any time soon.
