Prince Harry’s lawsuit against the Daily Mail and The Sun is under painstaking investigation after it was reported that his declarations at the high court of London have a number of inconsistencies. As a result, there are raising concerns that the prince might have lied.
Although Harry returned to the United States a couple of weeks ago, the law firm that is representing him is still working on the case in court. However, a controversial declaration from the prince has him caught between a rock and a hard place.
The Duke of Sussex, along with his legal team, assured that Prince William had allegedly reached an economic agreement to avoid suing the editorial group with the late Queen Elizabeth II’s support.
Timothy Fancourt, a British judge, stated that there were inconsistencies in the testimonies given by the prince. According to him, there was a “factual inconsistency” between Harry’s claim that he did not have knowledge of what was happening before 2019 and saying that he would have filed a lawsuit in 2012 if not for the secret agreement.
As of today, Prince Harry has not released any statement regarding the matter. However, the Daily Mail and The Sun could use the inconsistencies against him in court and use them for their benefit.
