Prince William told Prince Harry not to marry Meghan Markle

During one of the early meetings between the Prince William and the Prince Harry after the latter started his relationship with Meghan Markle, William told Harry that Meghan was not a good woman.

Over the past three years, rumors about the bad relationship between the Prince William and the wife of his younger brother, Meghan Markle, have been incessant. The relationship between the two brothers-in-law has been one of the most controversial within the British royal family, and according to royal historian Robert Lacey, the rumors generated by the press are mostly true, and he has even started some rumors himself.

In one of his biographical books about the Prince Harry, Robert revealed that the Prince William tried to interfere in the relationship between Meghan and the Prince Harry. William was already married to Kate Middleton by this time, and according to him, she was the perfect wife to someday be a queen consort: compliant, moderate, calm, and impartial, qualities that Meghan Markle did not have in her favor.

According to William, Meghan is too “American” to be a member of the royal family. She is a very opinionateed woman , has leadership and initiative, as well as being very participative, the opposite of Kate.

For this reason, William tried to persuade his younger brother not to continue his relationship with Meghan Markle and find a calmer and more serene future queen.
