Kate Middleton and her family are currently facing a financial crisis which could lead to them selling their family business. The Princess of Wales is allegedly very desperate because she has not been able to find a solution to help her family.
Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton are the founders of the family’s company, Party Pieces. However, the business is on the verge of bankruptcy after the multiple financial issues that the pandemic brought and which they haven’t been able to recover from.
According to the Telegraph, the company was founded in 1987 and has been having serious economic losses for the last decade. However, they were hoping to recover from it by expanding internationally until COVID-19 hit.
Carole and Michael Middleton explained in an official statement that the losses were expected and revealed that the deal of bringing the company to other countries could save them from selling their company:
“It’s very exciting to see our Party Pieces Collection expanding into the U.S. starting with Saker ShopRites, a leading retailer in New Jersey’’
Despite the strategy of the Middleton family, numerous British journalists revealed that the couple is still planning on selling their company but they have not been able to find someone willing to do it.
