The emeritus King Juan Carlos I of Spain, the father of King Felipe VI, has unexpectedly returned to his country, which has caused problems for the Spanish royal family. The entire royal family was caught off guard by this, notably Queen Letizia, who is not at all pleased with the situation and has since become even more combative with her new husband.
Living a soap opera drama is Zarzuela. King Felipe VI is currently observing how his father is causing previously unheard-of turmoil within the Spanish monarchy. And the reason for this is that his father doesn’t appear to give a damn about the directives made within the monarchy.
King Juan Carlos I has arrived in Spain amid high public expectations in a private plane from London, England, to the airport of Vigo to ease tensions between the present kings, who are likely to become even more combative in this circumstance.
The arrival of his father from exile is not appropriate since it interferes with the political agenda, among other things, and Felipe VI had signed the order calling for elections in May.
The unexpected visit of the King Emeritus has drawn scathing criticism from a number of ministers of the Spanish political parties United Podemos, allies of the government, and pro-independence parties.
Queen Letizia is furious about the situation and has decided not to attend any of her husband’s events because she does not want to be forced to pick up the tab for the red plates her father-in-law has been slicing with his disgusting behavior.
According to a source close to the Spanish royal family, Queen Letizia is sick to death of her husband’s brief treatment of her father. She expects King Emeritus Juan Carlos I to follow all directives as previously stated.
King Felipe VI will now have to figure out how to calm Queen Letizia’s rage in the face of this. She is still eager to find a prompt resolution to the problem, though.
